How to Pay Bills Using Amazon ($4000 in a MONTH!)

Did you know that you can start your own business with Amazon? The awesome thing about this is that it is a LEGIT business:

• you invest money (as little or as much as you want) into it but you can do it as you want and from the comfort of your own home
•  no crazy overhead costs like an office or employees (however, depending on how “big” you want to go.. this might be an option for you!)
• and if done the RIGHT way– you can make EVERYTHING you invest and SO much more. The possibilities are ENDLESS.

As a mom of 3 boys and no desire to go back into the workforce, I am always looking for ways to make a little extra cash. How to pay bills without struggle. However, a year ago– when I started my Amazon business, I had no clue how awesome it was going to be! My “little extra cash” idea turned into BIG profits– which took me about 15 hours a week.

You might be thinking; ok Josie– get to it– tell me what you did! 🙂 After coming across this free ebook- Why Selling On Amazon Works, I read it and dug for more information, fast.

Here is the general idea:

Have you ever wondered how Amazon is able to offer SO many products and has literally become the one-stop-shop for most online shoppers? I mean, you can find the most random items and you literally can type what you want right in the Amazon search bar and probably find it!

The secret is that Amazon does not provide ALL of the products– almost 3/4 (75%!) of the products that are found on Amazon are provided by third-party sellers!  Amazon depends on third-party sellers to continue being  #1 in online sales. In return, Amazon is paying these third-party sellers a portion of the profits. 

Here is how it works:

1. You find products to sell on Amazon (I visit anywhere that sells items at a discount (or clearance): goodwill, TJmaxx, Joann’s, Michaels and even grocery stores)
2. You send your products into Amazon warehouses (they pay the shipping service upfront)
3. Amazon stores your products until they are sold
4. When someone buys, Amazon takes care of the 2-day shipping, customer service and processing of payment for the item
5. If you follow Jessica’s Steps for Pricing your Items— they can sell in less than a month!
6. Every two weeks, you get paid!

A couple of notes: Amazon DOES take a cut of your profits. However, as you can imagine– this is because you are using the #1 source for online shopping! To be honest, if you made your own website and tried to sell the same products– you would probably fail. Amazon is trusted, people know it and love the benefits that they get with their Amazon Prime membership. The fees really aren’t that bad — I’ve made up to 4x’s my investment after the Amazon fees. 

It takes some training— I wish I could tell you that right off the bat you can start selling and making a profit. Sadly, it’s not that easy.  You need to learn how to list your items, how to set prices, how to send in your products– and Amazon doesn’t really have a “user-friendly” way of explaining this process to you.

However, I found a great training of a woman, just like me who is currently earning SIX figures doing this PART-TIME! I signed up for her Amazon Boot Camp last year–where she shares exactly how to run a successful, profitable Amazon business. 

Because I like to keep it real– Here are some screenshots during Christmas Season last year (my first Christmas season) selling on Amazon.

After I invested $2,000 in the product, I profited over $4,000 by the end of the month. This is after all of the Amazon fees, shipping fees to get my products to the Amazon warehouses, boxes, tape and the cost of purchasing a new printer. um.. can you say game-changer? First off, I had NO clue that it was even possible to sell like this on Amazon. Secondly, I had no clue how lucrative it could be.

Thirdly, there was no way that I could have done this if I had not found Amazon ABC Boot Camp. This isn’t a “get rich quick” scheme. You will need to take the time to learn how to do it correctly but once you get the training done– you can jump in headfirst and start making money so that you invest money and get it RIGHT back.
