Before you head out and pay for Nesquick– I highly suggest making it at home! It’s pretty simple and most likely, you will have the ingredients in your pantry.
We started making our own and the kids haven’t noticed the change–not to mention, you have control of what is in it 🙂
Homemade Nesquick
Prep time: 5 mins
Total time: 5 mins
Ingredients
- 2/3 C. sugar
- 1/3 C. of cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- **This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled.
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients and mix well and store in an airtight container.
- To use – scoop 1-2 tablespoons into 8 oz of milk. More or less to taste.
- *Tip – I heat my kiddos milk for about 45 second in the microwave and then mix the powder. The warm milk helps melt the chocolate powder.
