Crock Pot Asian Chicken

SlowCookerAsianChicken4

Here is a great change to your traditional chicken drumsticks meal!

This chicken was so simple and super delicious!  Plus it’s healthy!! 🙂  I served it over a bed of steamed white rice & broccoli & used some of the extra sauce to season the rice.  The recipe would also work great with chicken thighs if that’s all you had on hand!

My stockpile is loaded with boneless skinless chicken breasts- would it be the same cooking time for that substitution?

My kids really like this. But we decided, after a couple changes, that we like it when we use 1/4 c balsamic vinegar and 1/4 c apple cider… my boys said it tasted more “Japanese” that way… we lived there for a few years and my family is fond of the food… so this was a good recipe for us… easy enough for 2 teen boys to make on their own! Gotta love it when they cook for us!
