Couponing In California: Coupon Organization Part 2 (Organize your coupon binder!)

Here is part two of coupon organization! Kara is back to show you how she organizes her coupon binder! I personally don’t use a coupon binder–I use a tote that I purchased at Walmart. (see that HERE)

If you missed part one, check that out HERE

Enjoy! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Very, very interesting.
One other thing I wonder about is …
Who is the person who keeps the coupon database up-to-date?
When you do the coupon match-ups,
do you cross-check everything in the store flyers to the coupon database?
You must have the patience of a saint ! ! !
Even if you don’t explain how you do it,
Thank you for all you do.

the coupon database is updated by an outside company..sadly, I have no control over how up to date the coupons are.. I do try to keep things updated myself.. but that doesn’t always happen ๐Ÿ™‚

I seriously have no idea how you do it. Especially with kids. I have 4 and one due next month, and it floors me that you are able to keep everything straight with little ones around! If I hadn’t found this site, there is no way I would have been able to coupon! Thank you!

Thank you for all your great videos and other info on this website! I am also excited I found this site…makes it so much easier as I learn. Just an FYI, in case anyone asks, they have this nifty looking coupon binder on hobbylobby.com. It’s zebra print (<–cute!!). They have it listed as $24.99, but when I went to their website today, there was some link to click on that takes 40% of the highest price item in your cart (that was my only item) which takes $10 off and then shipping was I think $2.95 (and of course there's tax). Anyway, the binder's description sounded pretty neat. I haven't seen anything at Target or Walmart that I like that is close to what is shown in the video. Also, the one I just ordered has a few pages to get me started with the organization. I hope it is as good system because the bummer part is you can't return to the Hobby Lobby store, you have to mail back. But anyway, just wanted to let you know in case anyone asks. I really like how you rolled your Walgreens rewards to purchase yours. I really need a system NOW though because all I've collected is already getting out of hand hahahaha I need to organize now so I don't get sidetracked ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the videos. I am wondering how do you organize yourself in the store? Do you pull out the coupons you need as you go along? Where do you put them? I currently use the pocket method lol or kid method, but i hate taking the kid(s) with me shopping (except to carry the bags in).

    • Daisy says:

The front couple of pages of my binder are where I put the coupons I’ve pulled that I’m planning on using, I have a 3- ring “pencil pouch” at the front of my binder that I put them in as I place the item in my cart so all of the coupons I’m definitely using are together before I walk up to the register. Just an idea.

    • Josie says:

I pull the coupons as I go, then put them in my back pocket or in my wallet if needed ๐Ÿ™‚

I love your video it is so helpful as I am trying to get organized myself. I have a question about coupons we print online (for example from coupons.com). Where do you store them and how do you keep those organized as they are large.

    Thank you!
